Several Liberty Village locales have special Mother’s Day events planned and with the guarantee of warmth, cheer and lots of love. One of our favourites, Mildred’s Temple Kitchen, is offering two spectacular meals on Mother’s Day. Our advice? Book early lest you and your mom miss out on some seriously delicious dishes. From 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, Mildred’s Temple Kitchen will be offering their spectacular Mother’s Day Brunch for $27.50 per person. The menu includes yummy dishes like their mouth-watering blueberry pancakes, poached eggs served on a flaky croissant with a choice of rosemary bacon or smoked salmon with a Bernaise sauce and, an extra delicious chef’s tart – a freshly baked tart with goat cheese and asparagus. Of course this is just a glimpse into their incredible menu items. The brunch menu also includes a delicious selection of side dishes, juices, sweet treats and mixed drinks! With these menu selections, your mom will be wishing that every day was Mother’s Day.

If you aren’t able to make it to Mildred’s Temple Kitchen in time for brunch, you have the option to reserve a table for dinner; their Mother’s Day Dinner is being offered at a fixed $35 per person rate. Mother’s Day dinner at Mildred’s Temple will start with fresh rolls served with whipped butter; for the second dish, you can enjoy a puree of herb and citrus scented green peas with crab and crème fraiche, which will be deliciously followed by a watercress salad with a host of incredible toppings. The main course includes a roast angus striploin with a selection of homey sides and, to close, a sticky toffee pudding. This menu will certainly make up for that house party you held without your mom’s consent or that not so great thing that happened with the neighbours. Or, it’ll be a delicious first step at least. Mildred’s Temple Kitchen has undoubtedly prepared two incredible menus to celebrate moms in our area on May 8th and you certainly shouldn’t miss out on them. Mildred Temple Kitchen’s brunch and dinner menus are available in full here.
