Give me Liberty After Work PartyFun | Written on June 16, 2015
There are lots of reasons why Liberty Village is one of Toronto’s most loved residential areas – its location, unique character, convenience of public transportation, the proximity to public venues and the availability of amenities are just a few. In this corner of Toronto, there’s also a strong sense of community that makes living in Liberty Village equivalent to being a part of a really, cool and inviting group. There’s an undeniable sense of belonging and neighbourliness that you feel when you live here.

For the twelfth year, Liberty Village celebrates this sense of community with the After Work Party on Thursday, June 18th. Prepare for a little extra love and fun in the air! The tagline this year, “We’re reuniting the Village People” is a further promise of a gooooood time in our neighbourhood. The After Work Party will run from 4:00pm until 10:00pm which means that for most, there’s ample time to head there after work and hang out before the evening ends.

The organizers are pulling out all the stops again this year. Starting with a great deal on drinks—buy your tickets in advance and get 5 drinks for $20 or purchase them at the event for $5 each, a steal either way. There’ll also be lots of incredible food and other drink items on sale from local restaurants. By now, you’ve probably mentally confirmed your attendance but if you do want to learn more about the event, you can follow @GiveMeLibertyTO on Twitter. On Thursday, June 18th tweet live from the party with #GML2015. Thousands of your Liberty Village neighbours are expected to head to Fraser Street north of Liberty Street for a great event and an all-around fun evening that will be one of many reminders this summer of why living in Liberty Village is so awesome.
