It’s Honda Indy Time!Fun | Written on June 10, 2015
Rev your engines. World class racing is on its way! The Honda Indy event is Toronto’s largest annual sporting event and it gets underway this Friday, June 12th. The streets surrounding Lake Ontario will be alive with race tracks and cool cars. As many already know, the Honda Indy is more than just a few days of car-racing in Toronto though, it’s a celebration. This year, attendees can look forward to food trucks, craft beer stalls, interactive games, activities, live entertainment, charity events, celebrity appearances and oh so much more! Regular Honda Indy goers will also notice that this year, the racing event is being held a month earlier than usual. That’s to make way for the Pan Am games later this summer.
Notwithstanding, this is an event that’s not to be missed, a way to vicariously satisfy your need for speed. Sure, there’ll be a bit more traffic in the area as the streets around the Lakeshore Boulevard area close to racing cars only but that was to be expected, and it’s only a slight inconvenience when weighed against the benefits of having the Honda Indy in the neighbourhood.
