Liberty Village RocksFun | Written on June 3, 2015
You should take this blog’s title literally. With all the musical events planned for Liberty Village this summer, there’s no denying that our neighbourhood really does rock! With easy access to Molson Amphitheatre and the concerts at Historic Fort York there’s ample evidence as well that Liberty Village knows a thing or two about good music.
So what’s on the agenda for the next few weeks? We’re happy you asked.

First up is Field Trip, 2015 on Saturday, June 6 to Sunday, June 7. This musical mash-up will feature performances from Marina & the Diamonds, My Morning Jacket, De La Soul, Purity Ring, Alabama Shakes, The War on Drugs, Rhye and Father John Misty, just to name a few. These are some pretty big names in the music world so excitement levels are already high in anticipation of really great music from some exceptional individuals. General admission weekend passes start at $120 (we’ve mentioned that there’ll be some really big names in the music industry there, right?) and go up to $200 for VIP weekend passes. Single day general admission passes start at $85 with VIP single day passes starting at $125. Children 12 years old and under are admitted for free with any adult ticket holder to a maximum of two children per adult.
