Pre-Holiday Shopping and Fun at the Toronto Art Crawl Christmas MarketFun | Written on November 11, 2016
Unseasonably warm Fall temperatures is just one of the treats that our area is experiencing this month. The Toronto Art Crawl Christmas Market is another! The Christmas Market, now in its 3rd year has quickly become a well-loved and highly anticipated local event and we’re all sorts of excited that the next Christmas Market is just around the bend.
With Halloween over, our thoughts have collectively (and quite rapidly) shifted to the next national celebratory occasion – Christmas. Store windows have already been transformed, decorations are lining shelves and trees are on sale. Now it’s time to get a jump on Christmas shopping. That’s what makes the timing of the Christmas Market so ideal. Just as our thoughts and energy begin to focus on Christmas, this great event, that includes incredible deals, tons of one of a kind items and, lots and lots of fun, takes place. We’re ready. Are you? Toronto Art Crawl, do what you do best: bring on the awesomeness!
On Sunday, November 20, the Toronto Art Crawl’s Christmas Market will open for another incredible year. It will be a full day of shopping, food and enjoyment that begins at 11:00am and ends at 7:00pm. And what space is big enough to contain this much fun under one roof? We’re glad that you asked. The Christmas Market will take place at The Great Hall, located at 1087 Queen Street West. We’ve done the math and that’s a 10-minute commute by public transit or a 15-minute walk from our Liberty Central By The Lake Two location. That equates to a lot of excitement happening very close by.
And we do mean, excitement! This year the Christmas Market is returning bigger and better! The Christmas Market will take place on multiple levels at The Great Hall, a must, given the more than 90 designers and artists who will be a part of this year’s event. There will also be two floors of shopping, music (courtesy of an onsite DJ), food, a cash bar and interactive demonstrations and activities. And, anyone who lives and attends events in our area knows that our local event organizers loooove to include contests and prizes as special bonuses for attendees. The Toronto Art Crawl Christmas Market will be offering swag bags and lots of other freebies to attendees. Head over early for a greater chance of scoring something good! Word on the street (and on the Christmas Market Facebook event page) is that the first 25 attendees will be treated to some extra awesome goods.
As for the shopping, you’ll be able to get gifts for the pickiest of your relatives as well as the friend who seems to already have one of everything. There’ll be vendors who will be selling and promoting art, clothing, fashion accessories, pottery, vintage items, stationery, pet items, food products, personal care items, photography, home décor items and more! For attendees of previous Toronto Art Crawl and Christmas Market events, there’ll be lots of familiar faces among the vendors, including:
