It’s official! 3 Brewers (or 3 Brasseurs as it’s known in French Canada and other parts of the world) will be opening their doors in Liberty Village in mid-November and we are over the moon with excitement! Prepare yourselves, Villagers! There are lots of incredible things in store at this new brewery and restaurant that will make your “Wine Wednesdays”, “Thirsty Thursdays” and every day in between at their new Liberty Village location extra special and extra delicious!

There’s no doubt that Villagers will be pouring through the doors at 3 Brewers’ newest location at Atlantic and Liberty when they open. And there’ll be every reason to! Here is just some of what you can look forward to.

The highlight of any brewery is undoubtedly their beers and 3 Brewers Liberty Village has upped the ante on the brews they’ll be offering in our neighbourhood. Not only will the Liberty Village location have its own, complete microbrewery, the 3 Brewers Liberty Village location will also be serving a special neighbourhood hi-fidelity pale ale that will only be available in Liberty Village. This new neighbourhood ale is malty and balanced with an alcohol volume of 5,7%. We’ll definitely drink to that! And, our new ale comes with a story, one that 3 Brewers’ Simon Girard explains is inspired by Liberty Village’s history. As Girard tells it: In 1917, a phonograph factory, the Brunswick-Balke- Collender Company, located at 2 Liberty Street, established itself as a leader in the industry just as dance music was taking off. After producing their own records for over ten years, they sold their music division to Warner Brothers in 1930. In honour of these historical events, [3 Brewers] created the Hi-Fidelity Pale Ale for Liberty Village. Music and beer have never sounded better! We couldn’t agree with you more! They are a match made of foot-stomping, thirst-quenching perfection!

It won’t just be the incredible ales that make 3 Brewers’ Liberty Village location stand out. Their thoughtful, impressive décor will take your breath away while making you feel right at home. Once you enter the restaurant, you’ll be transported to a world that’s part French culture and part new age trendiness. It’s a mix that has the effect of being both welcoming and electrifying.

And, another unique feature that’s sure to catch your eye when you visit is their instore boutique. This 3 Brewers addition, that’s unique to their Liberty Village location, will offer patrons the opportunity to purchase special t-shirts, hats, beer glasses and other 3 Brewers swag! Talk about an awesome idea! For those times when you’re celebrating special occasions at 3 Brewers (which we’re sure there’ll be many), you’ll be able to take home a few extra memories and mementos with you. Yup, we’re drinking to that as well!

3 Brewers has several locations in Quebec and Ontario, and their microbreweries and restaurants are easily recognized for their great atmosphere, wonderful service, incredible-tasting ales, and, of course, their deeeeeelicious menu items! So, let’s talk food, shall we? From bar snacks to platters, starters, salads, burgers, sandwiches, plats brasseries and more, there’s every promise that you (and your stomach) will leave 3 Brewers’ Liberty Village location well satisfied. And you’ll love all the incredible ways that they incorporate beer in the dishes they offer! Their range of offerings are what you might expect from a pub but the dishes are elevated, a lot more sophisticated and, have we mentioned that they are yummmmmmmy! Simon Girard recommends the plats brasserie dishes and the unique choices of Flammekueches, like the poutine Flamm, made with caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, cheese curds, mozzarella and Swiss cheeses on poutine gravy and garnished with crisp, salted, beer-battered maxi fries. After viewing the menu, we’re anxious to try everything they have to offer!

We couldn’t be more excited to welcome 3 Brewers to our neighbourhood, and we know that this sentiment is shared throughout Liberty Village. Every great restaurant opening includes a great party and with 3 Brewers they will keep the party going almost every day that they’re open. They’ll have a live DJ on Wednesdays as well as daily food and drink specials! Their servers will always be on hand to let you know the details. Also, be sure to follow them on Facebook and Twitter to learn about events and great deals each week. There will be big screen TVs throughout so that, when you can’t make it in person to watch your favourite teams play, you can catch the action at the 3 Brewers restaurant with equally enthusiastic fans. And, for those birthday outings and celebratory gatherings, you can now add 3 Brewers to your list of great venues to reserve. If you’re planning to enjoy a night of good food and good company, 3 Brewers Liberty Village has private areas that you can book for your events.

Girard explains that opening a location in Liberty Village was something that 3 Brewers was eager to do because of how closely our neighbourhood’s energy and ideals match their values and craft. He adds that, in particular, 3 Brewers’ newest restaurant at 2 Liberty Street is a “great location that embodies the history of the area and craftsmanship of our great artisanal food and beer.” Well said!

3 Brewers Liberty Village will be open Sundays to Wednesdays from 11:00am to 12:00am and from Thursdays to Saturdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 am. They will also be launching weekend brunch in early 2017. There’s a new place to enjoy a great meal, great ales and a great time in Liberty Village and it’s been well worth the wait!
