The 2016 Summer of Music

Fun | Written on June 20, 2016

It will be a summer of music in and around Liberty Village.  Located a mere 15 minutes by public transit from Liberty Central By The Lake Two and 20 minutes on foot, there are lots of reasons to put “concert at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre” on your summer “To Do” list, in particular if you live in our neighbourhood.

Following the trend of incredible spring and summer events in our area, the summer line-up at the Molson Canadian Amphitheatre does not disappoint. And we don’t say that lightly. There’s been a really great array of events and activities happening in Liberty Village over the past few weeks and there’ll be tons more to come. We’re talking a street party, a massive neighbourhood garage sale, the Field Trip music fest, a Taco Fest, the Indigenous Arts Festival, the opening of our seasonal farmers’ market, a Ray-Ban “summer jam” and a traditional outdoor PowWow, to name a few. The bar has been set incredibly high! So, Molson Canadian Amphitheatre, what do you have scheduled for the summer season? And bear in mind, it’s gotta be gooood.
