The 4th Annual Liberty Village Art CrawlFun | Written on June 8, 2016
Every now and then it strikes us how perfectly the name, Liberty Village resonates with the character and diversity of our neighbourhood. It’s a constant reminder that ours is a community where you are free to be you. Live in Liberty.
For us, the annual Liberty Village Art Crawl embodies all that it means to call Liberty Village home. It’s an event that is fun, creative, artistic, exciting, enlightening and it’s a celebration of individuality. This year’s Liberty Village Art Crawl is on the horizon and we look forward to all the exciting things that will be a part of this incredible local event.
On Saturday, June 11, beginning at 11:00am there will be a coming together of the innovative, the original and the very, very awesome in Liberty Village. The Liberty Village Art Crawl kicks off its 4th annual event in our neighbourhood. And what a day it will be! Voted as one of the “Top 10 outdoor art fairs in Toronto” and one of the “top 6 art fairs to attend in Toronto in 2016”, the Liberty Village Art Crawl hosts artists and artisans from Liberty Village and across Toronto who are interested in showcasing, selling and promoting art, photography, jewellery, sculptures, furniture, home décor, pet accessories, clothing, body care products, wood and metal work, kid’s items and loads more. For us, this is so much more than a fair, a sale or even an exhibition. For us Villagers, it’s an occasion to recognize the artistry and talent of our neighbours and to own a piece of something that intrinsically speaks to our life in “liberty”.
Reserve the day to enjoy music, food and art! There will be live DJs on site all day until 6:00pm when the fun and creative Liberty Village Art Crawl comes to a close. There will also be food trucks and food vendors available throughout the day dishing up some serious deliciousness. Best of all though, there’ll be close to 70 artists at Liberty Village Park where the Liberty Village Art Crawl will be taking place. As in previous years, we have no doubt that attendees will be inspired and awed.

The organizers of the Art Crawl have once again pulled out all the stops to make this another vibrant, creative and interesting way to spend a Saturday in Liberty Village. Admission is free and there is also a ticket giveaway to see Cirque du Soleil’s Luzia when they open in July! The food, the fare, the fun and of course, the incredible art! There really is every reason to attend this year’s Liberty Village Art Crawl at 71 East Liberty Street.
