An event that combines food, drinks and fun! Where do we sign up? The Toronto Food & Drink Market is coming to our neighbourhood and we’re all sorts of excited. Pull up a chair and get comfortable, you won’t want to miss a single detail about the event that’s been named, “Toronto’s #1 Food, Wine and Hospitality Event”.
For three yum-filled days, from Friday, April 8 to Sunday, April 10, the Enercare Centre at Exhibition Place transforms into a centre for all things culinary. What can you expect at this Food and Drink paradise? We’re glad you asked :). You can expect a taste of any and every thing related to food, drinks and cooking. There will be exhibitors galore (way too many to list them all) but to give you an indication of the enormity and awesomeness of this event, the range includes restauranteurs and experts in wine, pizza, cupcakes, baked goods, herbs and spices, cheeses, sausage, soup, coffee, BBQ, meats and teas. There will also be a host vendors and booths offering advice, information and items for sale related to food preparation. This really is a “can’t miss” event for all foodies in our neighbourhood!
The Toronto Food & Drink Market will also feature the several speciality shows and events, including:
All You Need is Cheese: Dairy farmers and cheese experts will be on hand offering information and, delicious samples of Canadian-made cheeses. There’ll also be dishes (for tasting) and recipes that include 100% Canadian cheese. All you need is this incredibly delicious event!
Food Truck Alley: This popular Toronto Food and Drink Market event is back in all its glory this year! Attendees will be able to purchase food from some of Toronto’s yummiest food trucks, including, I Love Lasagna, Bake Three Fifty, NaanSense, Funnel Cake Express and Chimney Stax. Talk about delicious options. Your taste buds will thank you!
If you’re interested in a bit more than the delicious dishes and drinks available at the Toronto Food and Drink Market, you’ll be thrilled to know that there are lots of demo stage presentations scheduled for this year’s event. And we do mean lots! You’ll be able to learn about olive oils at the Med Flavour showcase on Friday, sample hot sauces at the Pepper North presentation and enjoy wine at Wine Awakening on Saturday and, learn about sake at the Robin Morgan demo and get great recipes for dishes with cottage country dip at the aptly named Cottage Country Dip showcase on Sunday. So, how do you get tickets to the Toronto Food and Drink Market? Single Day tickets are $12 online for adults and $15 at the door, tickets for seniors are $11 online and at the door, group admission tickets are $10 per person online, and the Toronto Food and Drink Market offers free entry for children 12 an under. Online tickets can be purchased here. Sampling tickets can also be purchased at a cost of $20 for 20 tickets. Sampling tickets allow Toronto Food and Drink Market attendees the opportunity to taste myriad items available at this year’s event. ID is required for alcohol sampling tickets and they can be purchased in person at the Toronto Food and Drink Market. Event hours are:
