Toronto Urban Collective’s Pre-Holiday Pop-Up MarketNeighbourhood | Written on November 5, 2015
From the release of Starbucks’ red cups to local store aisles that are now overflowing with Christmas decorations, there’s no denying that the holiday season is upon us.
If you’re an early shopper or just enjoy unique items, the Toronto Urban Collective’s Pre-Holiday Pop-Up Market this Sunday, November 8 is an opportunity to get some great finds in the area.
Independent vendors from across the city will provide an eclectic mix of items that are high-end, refined and those that are priced a little lower. The selection promises to be diverse and includes lots of original pieces, courtesy of some of our city’s best independent artists, craft-makers, photographers, designers, and food makers.
The Pre-Holiday Pop-Up Market runs from 11:00am – 6:00pm at the Glass Factory at 99 Sudbury Street and, with the great weather that we’ve been having, that amounts to a cool 10-15 minute walk (yes, walk!) from our location in Liberty Village. Pretty convenient, right?
This pop-up market is an awesome way to shop for locally made items. Some of the vendors you will find at the Pre-Holiday Market include:
LangSura: Clothing and Accessories
True North Trappings: Art
Melo and Co.: Art and Cards
The Sudsatorium: Natural Vegan Body Products
Acorn Studio: Stained Glass
Darling As Usual: Clothing and Accessories, Jewellery, Craft Supplies, Tools and more
